If you missed the hit Western drama Longmire when it aired on A&E and then moved to Netflix (and don’t have a subscription to stream now), you may be in luck: It’s coming to Circle’s linear programming.

The six seasons will begin airing on Tuesday, February 22, at 10/9c (and then 1a/12c) on Circle, the award-winning country music and lifestyle network and official TV home of the Grand Ole Opry. Episodes will then air every day at 6/5c, except on Tuesdays, when it will air at 10/9c and 1a/12c. (Find out how to watch Circle here.)

Longmire debuted on A&E in 2012, then finished its run on Netflix in 2017. It is set in rural Wyoming and follows the work of recent widow Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor), who investigates crimes in the town with the help of his staff, friends, and daughter. The cast includes Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, Cassidy Freeman, and Adam Bartley.

“Acquiring Longmire is a bullseye for us at Circle,” Circle Network’s Senior Vice President of Content, Evan Haiman, said in a statement. “Especially following our recent partnership with DISH, which allows us to reach many more small-town markets across America, we have an audience of rural residents that will really resonate with the feel of this show. We’ve seen the success of shows set in rural areas like Yellowstone. And Longmire will reach the same target audience.”

Added Circle Network’s General Manager, Drew Reifenberger, “What’s more, after two years of living through a pandemic, people are seeking out new views in the content they are consuming. After all this time spent in lockdown and isolation, Longmire is the perfect escapism for urban dwellers who want to see freedom and open spaces in their television content.”
