Four of CBS’ unscripted series aren’t going anywhere.

The network has renewed Survivor, The Amazing Race, Tough As Nails, and Secret Celebrity Renovation for the 2022-2023 season. They join the previously renewed Bob Abishola, CSI: Vegas, Ghosts, The Neighborhood, and Young Sheldon.

This news comes the same day that Survivor Season 42 is premiering, putting its castaways through an intense game of twists and advantages on the islands of Fiji. Hosted by Jeff Probst, the series is a top 25 broadcast and delivered 7.59 million viewers in the fall after a season-long, COVID-related hiatus. It is CBS’ most-streamed reality series on Paramount+, with streaming viewership up +199% from its prior fall season.

The Amazing Race, hosted by Phil Keoghan, delivered 5.42 million viewers this past season, which ended on March 2. The series’ streaming viewership is up +93% on Paramount+ from its prior season. Teams of two must travel around the world, competing in a series of challenges (mental and physical) in hopes of winning the cash prize when they arrive at the final destination.

Tough as Nails, also hosted by Keoghan, averages 3.57 million viewers. This competition series celebrates everyday Americans who consider the calluses on their hands a badge of honor.

And Secret Celebrity Renovation, hosted by Nischelle Turner, averaged 2.72 million viewers in its first season. It follows celebrities in sports, music, and entertainment on a journey back to their hometowns, to gift a surprise home renovation to someone meaningful who helped guide them to success. Next season, home improvement contractor and television personality Rob Mariano joins the design team with returning interior designer Sabrina Soto.
