Canadian designer Kathryn Bowen created three looks for Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is channeling her inner Canadian thanks to Toronto-based designer Kathryn Bowen and frequent FASHION photographer Greg Swales. To celebrate the launch of her upcoming fragrance, the reality TV star commissioned Kathryn Bowen to create not one but three custom mesh looks as seen in the images above. Then to round off the Canadian love-affair, Swales shot Kim Kardashian with various organic objects whilst teasing her new perfume bottle.

Steven Meisel shot the Alexander McQueen Spring ’22 campaign

Alexander McQueen is nothing if not iconic, so it makes total sense that the brand commissioned iconic photographer Steven Meisel to shoot its Spring 2022 womenswear campaign. Featuring 17 models, the outfits speak for themselves as the black and white film provides a simple backdrop for anything-but-simple clothing. If you look closely, you’ll be sure to recognize a few looks that have already made their debut on the red carpet, such as the blazer and pants Zendaya wore for a Spiderman press event.

    Wuxly earns B Corp certification

Congratulations are in order for Canadian outerwear brand Wuxly, as the company announced it has officially become B Corp certified. For those unfamiliar with the achievement, the status is awarded to brands that demonstrate a high level of social and environmental activism. As Wuxly has been vegan and made-in-Canada since its debut in 2015, we can definitively say the title is well-earned.

Uniqlo collaborates with Mame Kurogouchi on a second collection

As Canadians, we know the secret to winter dressing is in layering. And thanks to Uniqlo’s latest collaboration with Mame Kurogouchi, it’s never been easier (or more stylish) to keep warm without sacrificing comfortable. Referred to as “innerware,” the partnership pairs Unqilo’s advanced fabrics with the intimate and loungewear styles from Mame Kurogouchi to create an easy-to-wear offering of everyday basics. Don’t be fooled by the lightweight feel, this fabric packs a punch and can be worn under tops and sweaters.

    Roots gets fleece-y

Roots wants to keep you cozy this January with the return of its Polartec collection. Back by popular demand, the high performance fleece combines sustainability with style as the material is made from 100% recycled PET plastic water bottles. Bonus: ’90s nostalgia can be seen throughout the entire assortment of sweaters, vests, jackets and pants.

VIVAIA wants you to look good while also doing good with the launch of its recent charity initiative Flats for Hope. In partnership with SOS Children’s Village Bangladesh — a nonprofit organization dedicated to the care of orphaned, abandoned, and other vulnerable children — the footwear brand will donate $5 with every purchase of the Avis Pointed-Toe V-Cut Flats ($89 USD/$112 CAD). Available in seven shades, you’re sure to find a colour to match your every mood.
