At this point, I think we can all agree that Beyoncé can do no wrong. So are we surprised that the new adidas x Ivy Park ‘Ivytopia’ collection has us crazy in love? Not in the slightest. Whether you’re looking for the perfect ‘fit to wear to the beach, the mountains or downtown, Queen B has you covered with swimsuits, metallic activewear and floral everything.

Power suiting is back, but then again, you already knew that. It’s been back for a few seasons now, and no one does blazers quite like the Canadian brand SMYTHE. And for its Pre-Fall 2022 collection — available in stores and online at the end of the month— it’s all about patterns. Think stripes and plaid options, in addition to a few fun florals.

Coco Capitan brings joy to her Charles & Keith capsule collection

What is fashion for if not to spark joy? London-based photographer and artist Coco Capitán gets this and has channelled that uplifting message into her collaboration with Singapore-based footwear and accessory brand Charles & Keith. “I wanted to create a message of optimism,” Capiàn says in a press release. “This is why I chose to talk about a wildflower growing in concrete. It seems incredible to me that nature still manages to grow in big cities, despite how difficult we make it for them. For me, this is an observation that carries hope within it.” We dare you not to smile while looking at these whimsical loafers.

Tailored vests have been the unexpected style hero of the summer, and now they come in denim, thanks to Levi’s second collaboration with athlete, changemaker and entrepreneur Naomi Osaka. Made from 100 per cent organically grown cotton, the assortment also includes an artist coat, a trucker jacket, high-waisted jeans and a mermaid skirt.

Hot tip: If you’re looking to add a few more designer pieces to your wardrobe without breaking the bank or the planet, resale is the perfect solution. Luckily, Vancouver’s online luxury clothing store FAULKNER knows this, hence its partnership with global resale platform Grailed. According to a press release, the curated collection promises to include “deadstock and archive Arc’teryx, rare original training jerseys from the early ’90s, a bit of Dries van Noten, Issey Miyake, Rick Owens, Prada” and more.

Y2K comes to Call It Spring

Who says you have to retire your summer wardrobe when September hits? Not Call it Spring! For its Fall 2022 collection, the sustainable and vegan footwear brand has released a variety of Y2K and ’90s-inspired styles such as chunky sandals (yes, sandals in the fall!), loafers and boots. Butterfly clips and lip gloss are not included, although we highly recommend both.

Almost 50 years ago, Charo Ruiz moved to Ibiza as a model and was inspired to create a tropical offering of summer staples. Now, an exclusive collection from the brand is coming to Revelle. Available online and in stores at the Toronto Yorkville location, the top, skirts and dresses are sure to sizzle at any summer wedding or Mamma Mia-esque celebration.
