After reimagining Regency-era clothing for Netflix’s Bridgerton, Emmy Award-winning costume designer Ellen Mirojnick set the tone for what we’d all be wearing in the 2020s — we’re talking corsets, ruffles, baby doll dresses. Now, she’s designed a Bridgerton-themed jewellery collection in collaboration with designer Monica Rich Kosann, whose fine jewellery brand holds B Corp certification. The partnership comes from a new initiative called Seat at the Table, dreamed up by Shonda Rhimes’s production company Shondaland. The program aims to give talented craftspeople working behind the camera the chance to extend their creativity on a consumer level. In this case, Kosann’s affinity for dainty lockets is blended with Mirojnick’s expertise in 19th century romantic drama. It’s a match made in vintage heaven.

In the 12-piece, genderless assortment of varsity jackets, bombers, hoodies, sweatpants and leather goods, expect to see a total refresh on Roots staples thanks to Adidem’s visionary approach to design.

Vivek Shraya and Mic. Carter dream up a sartorial disco ball

An almost decade-long friendship and shared appreciation for fashion is what propelled the creation of a particularly glam shirt. Vivek Shraya and Mic. Carter of L’uomo Strano, who met in the Toronto queer scene and connected over their mutual passion for disrupting gender codes, have just co-designed an oversized, disco ball top. Adorned with zippers that allow for dynamic transformations, the VERS Shirt is made to be as versatile as the wearer.

“Creating this piece with the icon that is Vivek Shraya was honestly a dream come true,” said Mic. Carter in a release. “The VERS Shirt is such a gender-free statement piece that so perfectly synthesizes L’Uomo Strano’s dynamic silhouettes with Vivek’s radiant glamour.”

Canadian luxury outerwear brand Nobis is on a mission to help reduce everyone’s carbon footprint. Introducing Next by Nobis, the peer-to-peer resale program offers North American shoppers the opportunity to extend the lifecycle of products. And the process is simple. Sellers simply need to post their Nobis jackets for resale on the Next by Nobis website. The items are then authenticated, priced and made available for another shopper to take home.
