Is it just us or did the Grammys red carpet 2024 feel a little…quiet? When it came to A-list mucelebrities, the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna, Adele, Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande were nowhere to be found, and even Taylor Swift was a question mark until the very last minute. (Swift, heading to Tokyo this week before next Sunday’s Super Bowl, was rumoured to be skipping the Grammys but walked the carpet just before the ceremony commenced — in custom Schiaparelli, no less!)
There were a few fashionable bright spots on the Grammys red carpet, led by Dua Lipa in custom Courreges, Olivia Rodrigo in vintage Versace circa 1995 and Caroline Polachek in Olivier Theyskens’ Fall 1998 collection. (Hat tip to beloved Instagram account Check the Tag for the vintage intel.)
