Elegant French childrenswear brand Bonpoint teamed up with FASHION to celebrate the launch of its new Pokemon collection.
In Toronto’s trendy Yorkville neighbourhood on April 24, luxury French childrenswear brand Bonpoint launched its much-anticipated Bonpoint x Pokémon collection. The charming Bloor Street boutique played host to an exclusive shopping event and celebration organized in partnership with FASHION and The Drop, attracting some of the city’s most stylish families.
The fun, lively evening saw some of the city’s most stylish individuals—including model Yasmin Warsame, creators Sasha Exeter and Cher Bai, fashion designer Hannah Kim and stylist Zeina Esmail—and their children shopping both the new drop and Bonpoint’s beautiful spring collection at the new Bonpoint boutique on Bloor street, the French brand’s new Canada location.
The new Bonpoint x Pokémon capsule features a stylishly adorable range of clothing, accessories and skincare products for babies and children. Every piece from this chic collection, designed to delight parents and kids alike, features charming Pikachu prints and graphics—an elegant, distinctively French take on the popular world of Pokémon. It includes t-shirts, a denim jacket and four limited-edition versions of Bonpoint’s hypo-allergenic skincare products, developed for the whole family. There are also organic cotton pyjamas for babies and toddlers, and even a light denim baseball cap that will be perfect for summer adventures.
A portion of proceeds from the shopping event along with 10 per cent of all sales from the launch week were donated to CAMH, Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and a leading research centre in Toronto.
The party featured great tunes by DJ Sophie Jones, and a colouring and art station, which kept the young attendees well entertained throughout the evening and way past many bedtimes. Fashionable littles danced with friends, tried on their favourite pieces from the new collection, and posed for sweet family snaps in front of the customized event backdrop.
Guests were treated to bubbly, juice and delicious canapés alongside kid-friendly treats such as Pokémon-themed cookies, fresh fruit, macarons, candied apples, gourmet marshmallows and coloured popcorn.
Attendees also received curated gift bags, Bonpoint skincare products and fragrances, the latest issue of FASHION and more—an exciting finish to a high-energy, high-impact evening celebrating a covetable new collaboration.
