Southern Charm star, Patricia Altschul is sharing a heartbreaking update on her former butler, Michael Kelcourse. Although he has not been with her since 2021, he is still a beloved member of the Bravo family. Now, she sadly has some news no one wants to hear. So, what is going on? Keep reading for more details.
Southern Charm Patricia Shares Heartbreaking Update On Michael
Michael Kelcourse was Patricia Altschul’s key butler. He drove her in luxury so she could indulge in her love of fast food. She was set up like a queen in the backseat thanks to Michael and could enjoy her treats without a care in the world. Along with that, Michael made a martini like no other but that would soon come to an end. As reliant as Patricia was on Michael, Southern Charm viewers loved seeing their banter and genuine love for one another. Then, in 2021, Michael had a spinal cord stroke and it changed his life.
He ended up going to an assisted living facility and fans really missed him. Miss Patricia seemed lost without Michael as he made her drink just right. She would update followers on Michael, but they still wanted him back. Fortunately, he appeared in Season 9 when Patricia and her son, Whitney Sudler-Smith FaceTimed him. They needed Michael to teach Whit how to make a proper martini. Unfortunately, as of September, Michael was entering the final chapter of his life. This was heartbreaking but now, Patricia has taken to her Instagram for another devastating update.
The Southern Charm star explained Michael Kelcourse suffered another stroke. He cannot read messages on any electronics. However, he can get cards and his birthday is on the horizon. Michael will celebrate on Sunday, October 13th so Miss Patricia is encouraging his fans to send cards. They can be sent to:
