What isWCTH Season 12 about? Here is what Hallmark has released about the new season. “In Season 12 of When Calls The Heart, love flourishes for schoolteacher Elizabeth Thornton and Mountie Nathan Grant as they embrace the joy of new romance.”
Reporter Rosemary Coulter and retired Mountie Bill Avery team up once again to investigate a train robbery, while Governor Lucas Bouchard and Mayor Lee Coulter quite literally find common ground. The community comes together to celebrate and support each other through a season of discovering passions, leaps of faith, and a whole lot of dancing.
What Hearties can unpack from this information is that there is a new mystery this season. Firstly, they are continuing the Elizabeth and Nathan Romance. However, there is no hint of a wedding this season. It sounds more like they are in the enjoying phase of the relationship.
But, Nathan may find himself needing to help with a potential unlawful situation. There was a train robbery. That means Rosemary and Bill are working together again this season. This should mean some comedy and some fun as the two sleuth around to solve this crime! Will Nathan interfere?
Next, Lee is or will become the Mayor of Hope Valley! Will there be an election this season? That information is forthcoming. But, the common ground? It looks like Governor Bouchard is hanging out in Hope Valley. Perhaps governmental business has moved to Hope Valley?

When Does When Calls The Heart Season 12 Premiere?
The premiere of WCTH Season 12 is on Sunday, January 5, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel. In addition, this first episode will be available to stream on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere.
Lastly, new episodes will be available on the Hallmark+ streaming channel on Mondays.
