Blake Shelton was on The Voice for a long time. He was one of the original coaches. However, he decided it was time for him to leave the show after his long ride. Even though his wife was a coach last season.
“Even to the small little things when you go, ‘I think I’ll do this,’ the very next thought is always, ‘Well, wait a minute. How’s that going work?’ Or, ‘What will they think?’ Or, ‘How will that affect a schedule?’ I think the only way for me to really do that right is to step away from being committed to something like The Voice that demands a lot of your time,” he continued. “There’s no way around it. If you’re going to do it and do it right, you have to be 150 percent in. And I just feel like those days are behind me for now. I got a more important job.”

He Shocks Viewers With Unexpected Appearance
Blake Shelton has shocked viewers with his unexpected appearance on Season 27 of The Voice. Adam Levine has returned as a coach. However, Blake is not alongside him to make fun of him. Kelsea Ballerini is a new coach and has taken it upon herself to make Blake’s voice go into the button on her chair. Blake reads out four things to Adam.
- “Adam’s a big baby,”
- “Adam…won’t shut up,”
- “Adam, you say a lot of stupid stuff,”
- “Adam’s a crappy Coach.”
Kelsea needed some “backup” when it came to fighting for artists against Adam.
It seems that Kelsea is going to use her Blake button quite often. Blake and Adam were always giving each other crap on the show. Now Adam is back and Blake is not a coach.
