However, most recently, the General Hospital alum has asked his fans to vote for him on an online poll. That sounds like he is ready to return to acting. Here are the details.
Ryan Paevey Asks Fans For Their Vote
On Monday, Ryan Paevey went to his Instagram Stories to share the results from a Just Jared poll. They ask fans to choose which stars they want to return to Hallmark. There is a cornucopia of names listed including current Hallmark star Luke Macfarlane, who starred in his own Hallmark+ reality series, Home Is Where The Heart Is, as well as stars that went to Great American Family like Trevor Donovan.
Ryan must have been chuffed, as he was at the top of the pile at 31.64 percent, with his A Little Daytime Drama costar Jen Lilley at 31.55 percent. He wrote, “Haha apparently this is a thing on justjared.com? Who knew…flying home now, will look into it mañana. Thanks guys!”
By early Tuesday, Ryan shared another story with a link to the poll, as well as “Toss me a vote if you’d be so kind…I’m fit for service. :)” His post must have been shared by many of his fans as his poll numbers have skyrocketed to 42.77 percent, and 33,357 votes. He has overshadowed all of his competition.
Most importantly, his comment, “I’m fit for service,” seems to indicate that he is ready to start making movies again. This should thrill the Paevey Pack, who have waited a long time for a new Hallmark movie.
Could The General Hospital Star Return To Hallmark?
Right now, it seems likely that Ryan Paevey will overwhelmingly win the Just Jared poll. But is he any closer to returning to Hallmark? Possibly. Just recently, Ryan shared a cryptic photo of the Hallmark Media HQ. That sparked some hope that he was ready to return to acting after taking time to care for his mom during her cancer battle.
When fans had asked him about it later, they assumed that he had returned. He revealed that although he was not back, he was having conversations with the feel-good network. Most of all, they were friendly conversations.
That should give Ryan’s fans some hope. It has been nearly 19 months since their favorite actor has been in a Hallmark movie. They have been anxiously awaiting his return.
Hopefully, he and the network can reach an agreement, and Countdown To Christmas will see the return of this Hallmark Hunk.
