Dark Fantasy Tactical RPG ‘Hellslave II’ Announced for 2026, Original Game Available for Free [Trailer]

Fans of dark fantasy dungeon crawlers have received not one but two treats from developer Ars Goetia. Not only have they announced HellSlave II: Judgment of the Archon, but the original HellSlave has been made available to grab for free until June 16.

The original HellSlave saw players making a pact with the Devil to fight back a demon invasion. In the sequel, the results of thousands of years of demonic warfare have left the world in shambles. Six demon lords, locked in an endless war, have brought ruin to all. Tired of this infernal chaos, the heavens have unleashed the Archon of Judgment, an unstoppable force set to destroy everything.

But before annihilation can begin, you’re given one final chance at salvation: destroy all the demons yourself, or perish with the rest of the world and creation.

As the spiritual successor to the critically acclaimed original, HellSlave II “raises the bar to hell” with everything that made the original so beloved. Players start as a Warrior or Sorcerer, specializing in six classes from spectral assassins to plague-bearing mages. Mix and match powers from the game’s talent tree to tailor the game to your playstyle. All powers are accessible, but your class defines your journey.

HellSlave II: Judgment of the Archon utilizes a unique time-based combat system. Each skill takes real-time seconds to execute, forcing you to balance aggression and survival in every fight. The game also utilizes an overhauled crafting system, allowing players to find, forge, and fine-tune their gear.
