Fans of Mama June and the Shannon family have been growing concerned for Josh Efird following the end of his marriage to June Shannon’s daughter Lauryn. ‘Pumpkin’ Filed For Divorce From Josh Efird Back In 2024
Mama June fans were introduced to Josh through June’s daughter Lauryn, also known as “Pumpkin.” The two married in Las Vegas back in 2018.
Josh and Pumpkin also share a daughter, Ella Grace, who was born in late 2017. Since then, the couple has had a son, Bentley, who was born in 2021, and a pair of twins in 2022.
However, Lauryn filed for divorce from Josh in August 2024. Since then, fans have followed Pumpkin in a new relationship with Darrin Kitchens, who is related to Josh by marriage.
As fans continue to watch the fallout of his and Pumpkin’s relationship on Mama June, many have shown concern for Josh. Taking to social media, one fan recently highlighted Josh’s presence on social media.
As the fan wrote, “I don’t have TikTok, and since I like Josh and have a sinking feeling he’s going be replaced on the show by Cuzbin,” referring to Darrin.

The fan continued, “I thot I’d give him a follow on Instagram so I can stay in tune with him and his new boo and kiddo. However, I went to his official Instagram and it looks like it’s been wiped. 157k followers but not a single post? Anyone know when he scrubbed his insta, and if his TikTok scrubbed too?”
The fan then shared that they were also enjoying the original Here Comes Honey Boo Boo series on Tubi. As they shared, “Takes me back to simpler times.”
Taking to the comments, other fans shared their concern that they will soon be seeing the last of Josh on the show. A few were sympathetic towards Josh, others towards Pumpkin, while others showed concern for both. Some comments included:
