Big Brother Spoilers: Ava Sets Final Nominations After Chaotic Veto Meeting

There comes a point in every season of Big Brother when things become predictable.

Sadly, it seems like we’ve already reached that point and we’re less than halfway through Big Brother Season 27.

Nominations in recent weeks have been mainly unsurprising. Thankfully, new Head of Household Ava vowed to switch things up this week.

At the end of Sunday’s episode, she nominated Keanu, Vince, and Zach for eviction.

Keanu has been up on the block at every opportunity, while Vince and Zach made their way to the block for the first time.

Vince has been playing the game too hard, making side deals after side deals, so it was inevitable that his luck would run out eventually.

The big question is whether he’s the target for the week or not.

As for Zach, he was blindsided to be put on the block, but remember that he has the power to remove himself from Ava’s clutches thanks to the $10,000 he won on the season premiere last month.

Big Brother Week 5 Is Poised to Get Crazier

As such, there was a way for the pair to get off the block this week and force Ava to name two new people to take their place.

In one of the bigger surprises this season, Katherine won the Power of Veto on Saturday, ending Keanu’s impressive streak.

In the aftermath, the talk has turned to whether she will use the Veto, or if she’ll attempt to avoid any potential blowback.

Katherine doesn’t talk game with many players, so it’s difficult to assess where her head is truly at in the game.

She’s in a showmance with Rylie, which may have kept her safer in the game in recent weeks.

Ever since winning the power, Katherine has declared that she will not be using it.

Even on Sunday evening, she said she didn’t want to use it.

    Is Morgan Ava’s New Target?

The sad part is that Morgan is one of her targets, and Ava has been vocal about wanting to put Morgan up, so there’s a chance that both Ava and Katherine could be left grinning at the end of the week.

Morgan ruffled some feathers by telling Rachel that Zach and Vince would take her to jury, but Rachel has been having a tough time in the house.

All of her allies are getting voted out, and she doesn’t want to be taken to the jury and eliminated first.

If anything, she wants to be evicted before the jury or to make it to the final two. She seems to forget that she has a big target on her back as a former winner.

On top of that, she’s trashing anyone who gets in her way, so she doesn’t have that many people fighting her corner anymore.

She’s lucky Ava won, because if the other side of the house had gained some power, she might have been sent packing this week.

With Zach’s power in play and no one in the loop about it, it made the veto ceremony a bit more chaotic than usual.

    Zach Takes a Bold Risk

When the feeds returned, we learned that Katherine did not use her Power of Veto, leaving Zach, Keanu, and Vince were on the block.

In one of the most shocking surprises of the season, Zach did not use his power.

    What the heck, amirite?

The rest of the week should be interesting.

With another Big Brother Blockbuster coming up, it’s nice to see that Kelley is getting a break from it.

There are so many people in the middle of the house right now, and Kelley is one of them. It would be interesting to see where the season would go if she or Keanu won HOH.

In the past few days, Keanu has made significant progress with Rachel, but it’s still unclear whether they’re just stroking each other’s ego or if a genuine bond is forming that could develop into an alliance.

We’ll have to stay tuned to find out.

In the meantime, what are your thoughts on the week’s final nominations?
