The Jonas Brothers are a very close family. Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas took the world by storm as an incredibly dynamic trio with Frankie as the youngest. Sadly, the four boys have just been struck by tragedy as their mother suffered a stroke. So, when did this happen, and will she be okay? Keep reading for more details on how she is faring.
The Jonas Brothers Suffer Heartbreak
For over twenty years, Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas have been making fans swoon with their good looks and catchy tunes. They also have acting chops and have been in some high-profile romances, which have made headlines. Yet, fans will follow them wherever they go, and that has contributed to their longevity. There is also a fourth Jonas, Frankie, who has dipped his toe into performing. He has also co-hosted the hit reality series, Claim to Fame, and viewers appreciate his comedic timing. Sadly, the family is going through a horrible time, and it is coming to light.

Their mother, Denise, recently suffered a stroke at just fifty-nine years old. She opened up about what had happened and how it was a blessing in disguise:
“Although I had this health scare, I always say it was probably the best thing that happened to me. I feel like it was a gift … from the Lord. I don’t think most people say that about something but it caused me to really be still.”
However, this stroke has impacted her cognitively, and it is technically called a “basal ganglia.” Denise is now struggling with “cognitive thinking, my speech [and] reasoning.” She noted that she will get more confused based on whether she has gotten enough sleep or if she has eaten or not. Interestingly enough, Denise may have missed her stroke, as she had hiccups that morning. It is extremely uncommon, but it happens.
Being the mother to The Jonas Brothers can mean being on the move. Yet, Denise can no longer be as spontaneous as she would like. That is the one setback of the stroke, but she has learned how to put her foot down and say “no” when she has to.
A Busy Life
Denise Jonas has watched The Jonas Brothers’ star rise and the boys go on to have wives and children. Hopefully, the Wyckoff, New Jersey native’s health will get better so she does not miss any moments and can keep watching her kids thrive in the world. That is something that she seems to really love doing. However, it is great to see that she is slowing down some and making herself a priority.
