It looks like Blake Shelton is one heck of a stepfather, as his stepson is his mini-me in a new video. His wife, Gwen Stefani, shares three sons with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale. Yet, one of them seems to have taken to Blake more than the other two. Keep reading to see how uncanny the resemblance is.
Blake Shelton Has Fallen For His Stepsons
When Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton met on the set of The Voice, they were both married to other people. Yet, the marriages were crumbling, and their bond was instant. They found solace in their friendship, and eventually, it turned romantic. In 2021, the two tied the knot and have been fighting split rumors ever since. At the same time, Gwen came in with three sons from her previous union to Gavin Rossdale. They share Zuma, Apollo, and Kingston, who have really taken to Blake, which is a beautiful thing.
In a birthday tribute to Zuma, it was clear that he favored Blake. Sitting next to his stepfather, they donned cowboy hats and buttoned down shirts. Blake was pointing at the camera while Zuma was smiling big and bright. The two were very much twinning, and Zuma could easily pass as Blake’s son.
It seems that Zuma is into the Western genre, but that has not faded. Recently, Gwen Stefani’s band, No Doubt, has had a residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the end of the run, the children of the bandmates all came out on stage, and that included Zuma. He was still in his cowboy gear with his hat, still favoring Blake Shelton. Fans took note of this and thought it was so sweet that he had grown attached to his stepfather in such a way.
Gwen was in the middle of Apollo and Zuma on the stage. Immediately, they all took a bow with Zuma waving and smiling out to the crowd, which showed his immense stage presence.
The Country Boy
Gavin Rossdale has joked in the past about how Zuma loves country music. He noted that he has no idea where that came from (he obviously does), but he will do what he can to support him. Gwen Stefani’s sons have performed at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red bar, so that has been a benefit. For now, fans are just shocked to see the No Doubt kids growing up. Many were teenagers when they first got into the band. Now, the band members have teens of their own, which is a crazy concept.
