Today Show fans are familiar with Al Roker as their longtime meteorologist. Yet, a newcomer has come along, caught their eye, and they are now obsessed with the “hunk.” So, who is he and what is known about him? Keep reading for more details.
Today Fans Have Found A New ‘Hunk’
For decades, Al Roker has been the meteorologist that Today Show fans have come to rely on. When he has fallen ill or has a milestone moment, viewers are fully invested. Recently, his daughter got married, and everyone was excited to see snaps and hear all of the details. Additionally, he and Craig Melvin were nearly attacked by a set intruder, which was terrifying. However, it seems that someone new has swooped in and taken his place. No, it is not Dylan Dreyer, who fans love and adore, but rather a young “hunk,” as this male has been branded.
Ryan Chandler is based in Texas and has been reporting on the flooding. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and was the recipient of the Headliners Foundation scholarship. Ryan then joined NBC News in 2025, which includes NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, and NBC News Now. Viewers have seen snippets of him, but it appears that he has become much more of a presence. Therefore, the fans are quite fond of him, and they are making this known on Reddit:
- Hunk
- I watched this morning. Honestly, I could splash around with him in that puddle behind him!
It is unclear how old the new Today meteorologist is, but it is predicted that he is in his late twenties. He is not replacing anyone in a permanent or official capacity. Rather, he will be doing on-the-scene weather reporting, and that seems just fine for Ryan Chandler. He likes to be in the field, and the viewers are happy with him in any capacity that they can have him.
Good Looking Man
Today Show viewers are not paying much attention to what Ryan Chandler has been saying. They just like to look at him, and that is sweet. However, some are making it known that he is not necessarily new on the scene:
He is not exclusive to weather, as he has done reporting at the airport when it comes to tricky travel. Now that he has a good fanbase, there may be a lot more for viewers to gush over.
