Ready for the best news ever? Tim Hortons and Justin Bieber have unveiled a lineup of merch to accompany the unlikely pairing’s much-anticipated collaboration. On November 29, the same day that we will be graced with a limited-edition selection of Timbiebs Timbits (Chocolate White Fudge, Sour Cream Chocolate Chip and Birthday Cake Waffle), Justin’s fanatical love of the Tims brand will come to life in a cozy beanie, a fanny pack and a tote bag.

“Doing a Tim Hortons collab has always been a dream of mine,” said Justin in a press release. “I grew up on Tim Hortons and it’s always been something close to my heart.” Name a better duo, we’ll wait.

Canadians, listen up. It’s now easier than ever to get your hands on a Saddle Bag, Lady Dior or even the Maria Grazia Chiuri-designed Dway mules. The Dior.com boutique has officially launched in Canada. As of November 16, the entire Dior universe (including women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, jewellery, watches and even select Dior Maison items) is available for Canadian fashion fanatics to browse and checkout online. This comes in perfect time ahead of the holiday shopping season!

The Gucci Hacker Project arrives at Holt Renfrew Yorkdale

On November 15, Yorkdale’s Holt Renfrew unveiled a two-week-long Gucci Pin (the brand’s version of a pop-up store) solely dedicated to the “Hacker Project.” The shop will feature the Hacker Project capsule collection by Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele, designed as an expression of reverence and homage to Demna Gvasalia’s Balenciaga and includes both ready-to-wear and accessories. Fabrics, key signifiers, details and logos that are core to both brands are married into the collection, with exclusive pieces set to be available at all Gucci Pins.

Balenciaga’s Hacker collection sweeps through Ssense Montreal

Likewise, Ssense Montreal opened a space for Balenciaga’s “Hacker” collection on November 15, which sees the opposite ruse occur. For Balenciaga’s respective Spring 2022 show this year, the Kering brand reinterpreted signature Gucci codes for a collection that merges the two storied fashion houses. Now that the second part of this project has finally launched this week, Ssense Montreal will turn its first floor, lobby and windows into a space overtook by Balenciaga imitating the retired concept of a trunk show. It will also act as Quebec’s exclusive retailer for the Hacker collection. The installation and collection is in place until December 12 at Ssense Montreal.

French fashion house Louis Vuitton has just published a title under Éditions Gallimard that commemorates the 200th birthday of the label’s eponymous founder. Louis Vuitton, L’audacieux, written by Caroline Bongrand, is the vivid retelling of Vuitton’s coming of age and rise to becoming a visionary craftsman. The English version of the 320 page tome, printed in Italy, is available in Louis Vuitton stores across Canada, and an audio book version can be found on audible.ca.

Uniqlo releases its last collaboration with Jil Sander

This week, the latest and last launch of Uniqlo and Jil Sander’s collaborations hit stores. +J Fall/Winter 2021 marks the end of the 12 year partnership, making it more than a collaboration but rather a deep relationship that carried Uniqlo into the realm of high fashion collaborations back in 2009. The collection, sticking true to the series’ signature understated and quiet distinction, will feature new winter classics like oversized sweat tops and jogger style sweatpants.

Canadian-made brand Wuxly has launched a seasonal pop-up shop in both Toronto (884 Queen St. West) and Ottawa (436 Richmond Rd). Known for producing the warm vegan and sustainable outerwear, such as the brand’s infamous premium parkas, Wuxly has created a cozy cabin-like retreat as the setting of the two temporary shops, open through February 28, 2022.

Canada’s favourite romper brand is now available for in-person shopping. Smash + Tess will be setting up shop on November 19 at Vancouver’s Coquitlam Centre, and guests can expect cheeky signage, a boujee lounge area, and perhaps the first-ever “Romper Runway.” In honour of the event, 100 per cent of the opening night ticket sales will be donated to BC Women’s Health Foundation and matched by S+T with an in-store credit.

The MEREband is back and glitzier than ever

Sparkle lovers rejoice: Size-inclusive stylist Meredith Shaw and the Canadian band Femme Faire are back. After last year’s success of the MEREband, the duo is releasing an embellished grey headband just in time for the holiday season. If you need more reason to shop, a portion of all sales will be donated to Girls Inc. — a nonprofit organization that provides educational and empowering programs for girls ages 5-18.

The Dr. Martens x Lazy Oaf collab will bring a smile to your feet

For the brands’ fourth collaboration, Dr. Martens and Lazy Oaf want to bring a smile to both your face and your feet. Featuring bows, embellishments and happy faces, the assortment conjures nostalgia for the girl groups of the nineties as the styles are unapologetically campy and feminine. Whether you’re pro-lace-ups or mary janes, these shoes are definitely Spice Girl approved.
