From Russia with love! Known as the immigrant goddess of NYC, and coming here originally on a Fulbright Scholarship, Svetlana started her drag career by winning Our Lady of Saliva at The Ritz, and so a star was born. With sister drag sensation Sherry Vine taking her under her wing and one of the people who wrote a letter to help Svetlana get political asylum, she also helped her get gigs and so this campy Queen took NYC by storm! Well it’s no wonder. She has it all going on, the perfect blend of talent, stage presence, and makeup, hair, and costume artistry. From working for the Uber selective Voss Events, the legendary Linda Simpson, and running Lucky Cheng’s as an artistic director and manager, not to mention drag bingos, and drag brunches at an abundance of venues, you can now catch her at Frankie’s Pub every Weds night!
