The expanse of the Australian outback is like the uncharted oceans of the world. There is still so much to explore that we will never know every mystery it contains. That’s probably why it makes for a great horror movie setting. Plus Australian filmmakers have an affinity for gore and that means extreme fans of the genre are likely to get satiated with buckets of blood.
