Who’s Hosting SNL This Weekend?
Wiig hosts SNL on April 6, 2024, with Raye performing two tracks as the musical guest — possibly even records from the critically acclaimed 21st Century Blues. Ahead of her hosting gig, Wiig appeared in a teaser sketch, below, in which she visits her old dressing room at Rockefeller Center only to discover things weren’t quite left as promised.
So far in 2024, Saltburn actor Jacob Elordi has hosted with musical guest Reneé Rapp in January. The Euphoria actor appeared in several SNL teasers ahead of the episode. One included a clip where Rapp and cast member Bowen Yang danced through the studio, Saltburn-style, to — what else? — Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor,” (a.k.a., the song no one can get out of their heads right now). In another teaser, Yang joked: “Reneé, you were so right, he is so babygirl.” The Mean Girls star replied: “He’s so baby girl.”
Johnson, meantime, hosted the Jan. 27 episode, with Timberlake performing his new single “Selfish,” in addition to the unreleased track “Sanctified” alongside Tobe Nwigwe.
Pete Davidson previously kicked off SNL‘s season premiere in October, with Bad Bunny, Nate Bargatze, Timothée Chalamet, Adam Driver, and Emma Stone also hosting previous episodes for Season 49. Grammy nominee Olivia Rodrigo, Foo Fighters, Ice Spice, boygenius, and Bad Bunny also performed as musical guests this season.
How to Watch Every Season of SNL
