‘Bring Her Back’ – An Angel Rises in New Preview Trailer for ‘Talk to Me’ Duo’s A24 Movie

‘Bring Her Back’ – An Angel Rises in New Preview Trailer for ‘Talk to Me’ Duo’s A24 Movie

Two-time Academy Award nominee Sally Hawkins (The Shape of Water) stars in A24 horror movie Bring Her Back next month, and a new preview trailer has arrived for Easter.

The hotly anticipated new movie from Talk to Me directing duo Danny and Michael Philippou will release in theaters on May 30. Watch the new Bring Her Back trailer below.

The upcoming A24 horror movie is rated “R” for “Strong disturbing bloody violent content, some grisly images, graphic nudity, underage drinking and language.”

    Here’s the official plot synopsis…

A brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother.

Billy Barratt, Sora Wong, Jonah Wren Phillips, Sally-Anne Upton, Stephen Phillips, and Mischa Heywood also star in the film directed by Danny Philippou & Michael Philippou.

Danny Philippou and Bill Hinzman wrote the screenplay.

Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton produce Bring Her Back.

The brothers said of their second movie at a preview event, “It was more anxiety ridden because you have A24 to let down. You have Sally Hawkins to let down. Everything that you do, there was an extra pressure to it. So, everything just goes out the window, and it feels like you’ve never made anything. And then you’re in the deep again, and you feel like you’re drowning again. And you’re like, ‘Oh, why the fuck did we put ourselves through this again?’ And then, at the end of it, you come out. It’s always a painful process, but a rewarding one.”
