The BTS star showcased the track from his second solo album, Muse, on the late night show
BTS‘ Jimin delivered a special performance of “Who,” the track from his second solo album, to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday night.
The pre-recorded video featured Jimin flanked by dancers as they swept across an abandoned building and a marque illuminated the song’s title in the background. “We never met, but she’s all I see at night/Never mеt but she’s always on my mind,” confessed Jimin in the video, before singing: “Wanna give her thе world and so much more/Who is my heart waiting for?”
Jimin released Muse last week, which featured Beatles-inspired track “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco).” In a statement from Hybe and BigHit Music, the LP was described as a documentation of the singer’s “journey to find the source of his inspiration.”
Jimin is currently completing his mandatory military service duties in South Korea after enlisting in December 2023. Prior to beginning his service as an active-duty soldier, Jimin sent fans a heartfelt love letter in the form of his single “Closer Than This.”
With references to BTS’ career throughout his verses, Jimin sang on the song: “On the spring day we meet again, I’ll tell you everything I couldn’t before/My love, my babe, forever by your side/Seven equals one, right, our hearts still beat as one.”
The artist will also be featured alongside BTS member Jung Kook on a new travel series, titled Are You Sure?!, that will release on Disney+ on Aug. 8. The show, which was filmed before they started their military service, will follow the duo as they travel to New York, Jeju Island in South Korea, and Sapporo, Japan.
