Luke Bryan’s Wife Recalls MIL Taking a ‘Tinkle’ in Front of Her

Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline have been married nearly 20 years, but their relationship could have easily gone off the rails early on thanks to his mother, LeClaire.

In a hilarious video that has re-surfaced online, Caroline talks about the awkward moment she experienced with the Bryan matriarch the first time they met.

But before we get there, let’s recap.

Bryan and Caroline met during their college years in 1998, while they were both attending Georgia Southern University. She was a freshman, and he was a senior.

The couple dated until Bryan graduated in 1999; however, that was not the end of their love story.

About five-and-a-half years later the couple would reunite, this time for good.

During a visit with the Got It From My Momma podcast in 2023, Caroline and LeClaire recount the story about her first time going home with Bryan to meet his parents.

She had accompanied Bryan on a trip to his hometown for a show he was doing in the area. Caroline spent much of the day planting flowers with LeClaire before the country singer left for soundcheck.

Shortly after getting out of the shower, Caroline was in the bathroom getting ready for the concert.

“I take a shower, drying my hair, and the bathroom door swings open and here she comes,” Caroline recounts. “I’m like, hey, this is the first time I’ve hung out with her and she starts talking. And then she proceeds to sit on the toilet and tinkle.”

“I was like, ‘What do I do?'” she adds.

“I had, I had to tinkle,” LeClaire chimes in. “If you gotta go, you gotta go. We probably had one bathroom.”

The moment was not too much for Caroline, and it certainly didn’t scare her off. Bryan and Caroline married in 2006, and the two women have become two peas in a pod since then. They have shared some pretty hilarious moments together, documenting their shenanigans on social media.
