Since I regularly write about queer new releases for the Our Queerest Shelves newsletter, I keep a running spreadsheet of upcoming titles. Over the years, this list has grown and grown. 2025 is almost at its end, so I thought I would share with All Access members the complete list. There are over 1,200 titles on it!
The spreadsheet is organized by date and then genre within that (and alphabetical by the author’s last name within genre). There are columns for the kind of representation in the book as well as genre, so you can download a copy and filter by either of those. For example, you can filter for just fantasy books, or just books with a nonbinary main character, or fantasy books with a nonbinary main character!
This isn’t all the queer books that came out this year: I try to capture the biggest and buzziest books, but recording every title—especially when it comes to self-published books—would be impossible. I hope this incomplete but extensive list helps you to find some queer reads you missed this year!
