The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul was on a high as this was to be her summer. Unfortunately for her, it all came crashing down, and she is now trying to rebuild her life. Taylor Frankie Paul Shares Her Heartbreak
Viewers know Taylor Frankie Paul from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. It aired on Hulu and took off like wildfire, with two cast members showing off their moves on Dancing With the Stars. Whit Leavitt even took the Broadway world by storm in Chicago. Then, Taylor was cast as the lead on The Bachelorette, and reviews were mixed. Some people were thrilled and thought she was a great choice. However, others were not so convinced and felt there was a stigma around the mother of three. Filming went on, and an airdate was set until footage resurfaced of her and her ex, Dakota Mortensen.

Things got violent, a chair was thrown, and it may or may not have hit one of Taylor’s children, Indy. After that, the plug was pulled on The Bachelorette, plus it was also revealed that Taylor and Dakota had been intimate right before filming. The two share a son, Ever, from their time together, and after a series of unfortunate events, Dakota was granted sole custody. Taylor has been allowed 8 hours of supervised visitation per week, but she expressed her sadness via social media. She’s been fixing up various items, but in her Instagram stories, she wrote:
- I think all the projects and redoing is a fresh start but mainly a coping mechanism to distract from the fact my baby hasn’t been here for months now, aside visits
There was also a photo of her and her son holding hands. It is clear how much she misses him and how her heart is broken. On May 31st, Taylor Frankie Paul also shared a series of photos, as she did not want to miss out on the last day of mental health awareness month.
Not Alone
Taylor Frankie Paul made it clear that anyone who was struggling was not alone:
- Today is the last day of mental health awareness month and just know if you’re out there struggling you’re not alone.
She went through all of the promising things in her life that never came to fruition. Taylor discussed the shows she had hope for and how they came crashing down. She started by making boys cry, and now she is the one who has been “bawling.” It was a cruel twist, but Taylor seems to be working hard to find the light. Her followers appreciated her words and were very motivated:
- At the end of the day we are all human and make mistakes but growing from them is the key ❤️
- Sharing all this stuff is gonna help a lot of women ❤️
- I like you because you’re not perfect and instead of pretending to be you’re just authentically you and I finding it so empowering!🔥❤️
