Another couple bites the dust…
Chase Chrisley announced on his Instagram Tuesday that he and fiancée Emmy Medders have decided to go their separate ways. After building speculation from eagle-eyed fans, the Chrisley Knows Best star finally confirmed the sad news via his Stories. He wrote on a black background:
“Everybody has been asking a lot of questions regarding Emmy and myself. We both agreed to parts ways and move on with our lives separately. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”

It looks like the Chrisley siblings have also unfollowed Emmy in the wake of this news. Sad!

This may come as a shock to some, but the signs were there. From the beginning it would seem things have been rocky for the couple. Back in a 2021 episode of Unlocked with Chase’s sister Savannah Chrisley, Emmy confessed that the pair had broken up right before they got engaged:
“We’ve had some up and downs. It was on and off, and then we were doing really well, and then we did have one, like, major breakup where we didn’t talk for, like, I want to say it was two months, but it was probably more like two weeks … And then after that, we got back together, and we have been pretty, like, great, honestly.”
The 27-year-old and his lady were on-again, off-again for nearly two years before he popped the question in October of last year with a 3.5 carat diamond and over 175k rose petals in a grand romantic gesture. The post read:
“I am the luckiest man in the world, being able to call you mine forever is a blessing straight from God. You are the sunshine when it’s dark, you are the rain when it’s dry. I love you more than life itself and can’t wait to live forever with you! To you my love! Thank you for taking me FOREVER!!”
It doesn’t look like all the rose petals in the world could’ve saved them, though…
Things started getting complicated for the couple again when Chase expressed his desire to have kids with Emmy very soon, and she wasn’t ready. Everything came to a head this week when fans noticed the couple had each removed one another from their IG feeds entirely! That includes the sweet engagement post up there. #RIP
Meanwhile, of course, Todd and Julie Chrisley were also having their own issues which weighed on their son. They’re currently serving their prison sentences for tax evasion, which made the Growing Up Chrisley star’s wedding planning even more complicated, to say the least.
We’re sad to hear the news, but we ultimately wish Chase and Emmy the best in their futures! Sometimes the hardest decision to make is the right one.
