More than 1400 people were slain in Israel during a surprise incursion by Hamas militants as Prime Minister calls the 3 week war “A fight for Israel’s existence and says “Never Again is now.” Israel has never before faced a terror attack of this magnitude killing so many civilians many of them entire families and children. A morgue worker told the Daily Mail “Horrors inflicted on Hamas victims are worse than the Holocaust.” In response Israel declared war striking what it says are Hamas and Islamic Jihad targets in Gaza and blocking basic supplies including fuel and water to the Gaza population where over 8,000 people have been killed, mostly civilians.
Russia and Ukrainian drones damaged a nuclear waste storage facility at the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant after the war rages on in Ukraine for 613 days thus far. In February of 2022 Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Since the beginning of the invasion Russian authorities and armed forces have committed multiple war crimes in the form of deliberate attacks against civilian targets, massacres of civilians, torture and rape of women and children, and indiscriminate attacks in densely populated areas.
Countries, including Afghanistan, Central Africa Republic, Ethiopia, Libya, Syria, and others are currently experiencing civil wars, resulting in significant casualties and displacement. Countries including Colombia and Mexico are currently experiencing drug wars which are characterized by violence and organized crime associated with drug trafficking and distribution. South Sudan is currently experiencing ethnic violence, which has also resulted in significant casualties.
Enough! Older statesman who have lived their lives are sitting on their golden thrones and seem to be at ease starting the wars and sentencing young soldiers, woman and children to die. But there are signs of a solution, hope and encouragement…..in the words of the song that should be crowned a global anthem “EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE“ written by composer RANDY EDELMAN.

However, when the record label says sorry this will never be released and your hopes and dreams are crushed instantaneously that has really got to hurt.
