‘Only Murders in the Building’ Approved for a Third Season

The hit whodunit comedy, Only Murders in the Building has been greenlit for a third season already. We are in love with this fact considering that the second season is still in progress at the moment and already we can count on more in the future. Plus, it is great that both comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short are both onboard and invested in this particular story.

Both comedy legends aren’t very active in film at the moment. So, it is fantastic that this series keeps them coming back to a place we can still enjoy their paired comedy.

The synopsis for Only Murders in the Building goes like this:

After a suspicious death in their affluent Upper West Side apartment building, the Arconia, the three neighbors decide to start their own podcast about their investigation of the death, which the police ruled a suicide.

That synopsis is a really simplified version. There have been so many complicated twists and turns along the way that the primary story is pretty much just a lily pad that the narrative launched from in season one.

“My neighbours have a special message for you all: #OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding will return for Season 3! Now I just have to worry about who’s next… I hope it’s not me!” Hulu announced on Twitter.

There isn’t a release date for season three at the moment or any details since at this point those details would be huge spoilers for audiences are still absorbing season 2.

The Hulu series has managed to keep the whodunit a lot of fun and have surprisingly kept the mystery evergrowing by way of some really great writing.
