Hulu’s Prey gave us a prequel to Predator that manage to push all the right buttons. The entire thing was brilliant. It was a creative return to Predator’s prequel and took a rather close look at the very awesome tale that brought the alien race up against Native Americans.
Well, so far the only place we could watch the film was on Hulu. But, as of today that is starting to change. Physical Media collectors today is our day!
The synopsis for Prey goes like this:
Set in the Comanche Nation 300 years ago, Prey is the story of a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.
