Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin is going through a rough time. He found out last week while in Los Angeles filming the show that his wife Victoria was arrested. Not only was she arrested, she was arrested for allegedly plotting his murder. Aaron had no clue their marriage was unhappy and the two often posted on social media about their love for one another. Now, he’s devastated and reportedly filed for divorce in Clark County Nevada. Keep reading for all the details.
Ghost Adventures Star Aaron Goodwin Files For Divorce
Ghost Adventures star Aaron Goodwin reportedly filed for divorce from his wife Victoria. She was arrested on March 6 after it was uncovered that she had allegedly paid for a hitman to kill him. US Weekly obtained records of the divorce filing.
Aaron officially filed for divorce on Wednesday, March 12 in Clark County, Nevada. He is seeking to maintain his own separate property. Plus he wants their community assets divided equally but also wants the costs of the community assets reimbursed.
Aaron also wants his single status restored. The court filing read, “The views, tastes, likes and dislikes of husband and wife have become incompatible to the extent that it has become impossible for them to live together … in marital harmony. There is no possibility of reconciliation.”
Along with the property requests, Aaron wants neither of them to be awarded alimony.
The divorce filing listed their official wedding date as May 4, 2020. However, their wedding was postponed for two years because of the ongoing pandemic.
What Was Victoria Allegedly Planning?
Victoria who is 32, was arrested and charged on March 6 for soliciting to commit murder and conspiring to commit murder. She was in contact in 2024 with convicted killer Grant Amato who was arranging for the hit to be carried out on October 2, 2024.
There are phone messages of him contacting the hitman and asking if the deed had been done. Victoria had provided Amato with all the specific details about where and when Aaron would be filming Ghost Adventures in California.
Prison guards in Florida discovered Amato’s contraband phone on October 3. It allegedly took up until now for the phone to be analyzed and all the information uncovered.
When Victoria contacted Amato she said, “Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”
Aaron who is now 48 was in California filming the show last week when the call came in that his wife had been arrested and charged. The emotional and shocking moment was captured on camera by the Ghost Adventures crew.
It’s unclear right now if that shocking moment will become part of the future episode of the show. If included, it will not be in the upcoming season which premieres next month.
Victoria has denied the allegations against her and said she never wanted Aaron dead. She even went so far as to say she doesn’t remember sending the messages to Amato about the alleged hit.
She is being held on a $100,000 bond.
