Home Depot has become a great source of awesome Halloween decorations every year, with recent releases including a talking Chucky animatronic and a massive 12-foot skeleton that went viral due to its jaw-dropping size. What’s coming from Home Depot this year, you ask?
Well for starters, Home Depot will be releasing a 3.5-foot-tall animatronic decoration of the dastardly Stripe from Joe Dante’s Gremlins, and he’s slashing his way into stores soon!
The animated Gremlins decoration speaks phrases from the movie and features both head and mouth movements, and Stripe’s reptile-like eyes even light up a sinister LED orange.
Home Depot previews, “Delight fans of Gremlins with this life-size 3.5 ft. Animated LED Stripe. Trigger the motion or sound sensor and this mohawked menace comes alive speaking phrases in true character voice. Its head turns side-to-side swinging its two giant ears. Its mouth opens showing off its pointy teeth as its orange LED eyes glow in the darkness.”
