‘The Voice’ Confirms Surprising Season 30 Coach

‘The Voice’ Confirms Surprising Season 30 Coach

Fans of The Voice recently saw Season 29 come to an end. However, the next season is right around the corner. A few coaches have since been announced. However, one confirmed judge might still surprise fans for a few reasons.

The Voice Already Has Two Judges Confirmed For Season 30

Based on the Dutch series, The Voice of Holland, The Voice sees a panel of coaches for a team of artists that they mentor throughout the season. They also compete to ensure their act wins the competition.

Fans previously saw the series wrap up Season 29 this past April. At the time, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Adam Levine served as coaches, with Jennifer Hudson and CeeLo Green also being guest coaches.

As previously reported, the show has become known for switching things up with new panels of coaches during the past few seasons. However, it’s been announced that at least two of the Season 29 coaches will be returning for Season 30.

Kelly Clarkson Will Return, Despite Insiders Speculating Her Wanting To Walk Away From Television

Kelly Clarkson has been confirmed as a returning judge, with NBC announcing the news on Instagram. In the post, which was also shared by Clarkson herself, a caption read, “Please give a warm welcome back to Coach Kelly Clarkson! The Voice returns this fall. | @NBC and streaming on Peacock.”

Clarkson’s return can also be a surprise for some fans for another reason. After news had come out that her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, would be ending after the seventh season, it was believed that she was stepping away from television to focus on her personal life and her musical career.

As previously reported, insiders previously speculated that Clarkson would like to focus on her Las Vegas residency after the end of her show. On the other hand, they also noted that she likely would want to stay in one place and avoid touring. However, a return to television could still seem unexpected, as they believed it would be more lucrative to sell tickets and merch. In addition, Clarkson previously took a brief hiatus from the show following the death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock

It was previously announced that Adam Levine would also be returning for Season 30. He previously confirmed the news with People, noting, “I’m having so much fun doing it.” He added, “Since I came back a few seasons ago, it’s just been a blast and I’m super happy to keep it going as long as they’ll have me.”

Fans Have Also Shared Their Hopes For Who Else They Would Like To See Return To The Show

Levine’s return also comes out after he became the winning coach of Season 29 with singer Alexia Jayy. This marked the fourth time he won on the show.

The remaining coaches for Season 30 have yet to be announced. Normally, the show uses four coaches, but Season 29 mixed things up by only featuring three. At this time, it’s unknown if the show will go back to this previous format.

With the news of Clarkson’s return being shared on Instagram, fans have been sharing their reactions. Of course, this means a few fans are wondering about who else will return. Some comments include:

    • “So Adam And Kelly, I hope Blake returns!”
    • “I wish I could try out for team Kelly!”
    • “Oh I’m so happy & excited! But does this mean she is moving out of New York after she leaves her show?? We LOVE having her here!”
    • “Well! I am glad to hear that Kelly Clarkson is returning as a coach once again, this upcoming season. Now we have Adam and Kelly. But who are the next two coaches?”
    • “Yessss, bring back Reba and Snoop too!”

Are you excited for Season 30 of The Voice? Who else do you think will be a coach this upcoming season? Have you been following this story? Make sure you come back to TV Shows Ace for all the latest reality TV and celebrity news.
