Why Did The Bachelor Grant Ellis Tell Litia His Dad Is In Rehab?
The Bachelor Grant Ellis has fans really confused after telling Litia Garr that his dad is in rehab in New Jersey. He’s never held back when it comes to saying his dad has had addiction problems. In previews, Grant is seen talking to his father about the final two women.
How is Grant’s father in rehab if he is at the finale? Fans do not understand how that is possible. He clearly said he is in rehab. However, in previous interviews, Grant has clearly said that his father showed up for him when he really needed his support.
Ellis told US Weekly,
“When you’re a kid, you think your parents could do no wrong. But then you grow up and you start to realize they’re human, they make mistakes, they need to learn and grow. I’m proud of my dad and where he’s at. Throughout the course of the season, you see my relationship with my father come into play. [At the very end], he comes back and gives me some really solid advice — that’s something I’ve been looking for my whole life, and it’s something that helped me get over the edge to make my decision He’s able to come back in my life and help me when I need it the most.”
How can his dad be in two places at once? While nobody knows the real reason behind this confusing situation. Chances are his father took an absence from rehab to offer support as Grant continued his journey to find love. He wanted to be there for his son.
No doubt Grant will be addressing the situation either in an upcoming interview or in the finale which will air next Monday night on ABC.

All the previews for The Bachelor indicate that Grant Ellis has a difficult time making a final decision. Jesse Palmer is seen telling Grant that both women are in SUV’s and waiting and he needs to know who to send first. Grant says he does not know.
In interviews, Jesse has said that Ellis was truly having a difficult time making a final choice. Since then, Grant claims that he did know what he wanted to do. However, he felt pressure to make the right choice because of external factors. One of those factors included him being a black lead.
It still remains to be seen if Grant chooses someone. Will he get engaged next week or will he end up single? Some believe he was engaged but throughout the course of the season, a breakup occurred.
