Exclusive Butter Trailer Starring Newcomer Alex Kersting

ComingSoon is debuting the exclusive trailer for the comedy-drama Butter for National Bullying Prevention Month, starring newcomer Alex Kersting. Based on the book by Erin Jade Lange, the movie will premiere in theaters on February 25, 2022, from Blue Fox Entertainment.

“Butter (Kersting) is a smart, funny high school junior who happens to be obese,” reads the official synopsis. “But he secretly befriends the prettiest girl in school via social media by pretending to be a jock from another school. As Butter struggles with bullying and self-esteem at school, he plans an incredible social media stunt that will risk his life but win him attention and popularity – but as the day approaches can he really go through with it?”
