About the Event:
On Saturday, August 12, 2023, the East Hampton Library will present its 19th Annual Authors Night fundraiser. Enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and wine, meet and mingle with authors, and buy signed copies of their books. After the Authors Reception, guests can attend dinner parties at private area homes in honor of one or more of the guest authors. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards providing the community with essential programming and services at the East Hampton Library throughout the year — free of charge.
Among this year’s participating authors are Don Bentley, Tessa Bailey, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Jean Hanff Korelitz, and more.

The Specifics:
EVENT LOCATION: Authors Night will be held under a grand tent on the Herrick Park field at 67 Newtown Lane in East Hampton Village, NY. Please note: The event is NOT held at the Library.
EVENT ITINERARY: The evening begins at 5 pm with the Authors Reception under a grand tent, where guests enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and wine, meet and mingle with the authors, buy their books, and have them personally inscribed. At 8 pm, directly following the Authors Reception, guests dine at dinner parties at private area homes in honor of one or more of the guest authors.
TICKETS: Tickets are $150 for the Authors Reception only and begin at $400 for the dinners (includes entry to book signing reception). Tickets will go on sale in late spring, online at authorsnight.org, at the Library (159 Main St., East Hampton, NY), and by phone at (631) 324-0222.
BENEFICIARY: Proceeds from this special event benefit the East Hampton Library, a not-for-profit organization providing outstanding free library services to the East Hampton community since 1897.
