Alicia Silverstone has been part of the horror/genre game ever since her role in The Crush. That role along with Clueless launched her into stardom and a name that folks loved to see pop up in credits. Bloody Disgusting shared the first image from Silverstone’s upcoming film, Perpetrator.
The film is said to explore multiple generations of women and a youthful chaos that surrounds each of them. The film sounds like a great combination of horror and feminine power.
Anything that has to do with Silverstone we are really excited about. Perpetrator shaping up nicely. Director Jennifer Reeder is taking the helm on this after Knives and Skin we are looking forward to this one.
The synopsis for The Crush went like this:
Writer Nick Eliot (Cary Elwes) moves to a new city for a magazine job and rents a room in the house of Cliff (Kurtwood Smith) and Liv Forrester (Gwynyth Walsh), whose 14-year-old daughter, Adrian (Alicia Silverstone), instantly makes her attraction to Nick clear. While Nick romances photographer Amy Maddik (Jennifer Rubin) at work, he has trouble fending off Adrian’s advances. As her obsession with Nick grows, Adrian becomes angry at being rejected and starts attacking his property and friends.
The film stars Alicia Silverstone, Christopher Lowell, Melanie Liburd, and Ireon Roach.
