‘Run Sweetheart Run’ Trailer Sets Up a Deadly and Bloody

The trailer for Run Sweetheart Run is perfectly set up to hook the viewer. I mean, I know it got me hooked. I really can’t wait to watch this movie now. The beginning sets up familiar enough. A handsome psycho goes out of his way to find a girl that he is targeting. However, this one diverges a bit from that blueprint when he lets his target go and gives her a chance to live if she can survive the night. If that doesn’t get your attention the very last scene in the trailer will.

The synopsis for Run Sweetheart Run goes like this:

Initially apprehensive when her boss insists she meet with one of his most important clients, single mom Cherie (Ella Balinska) is relieved and excited when she meets charismatic Ethan (Pilou Asbæk). The influential businessman defies expectations and sweeps Cherie off her feet. But at the end of the night, when the two are alone together, he reveals his true, violent nature. Battered and terrified, she flees for her life, beginning a relentless game of cat-and-mouse with a bloodthirsty assailant hell-bent on her utter destruction. In this edge-of-your-seat dark thriller, Cherie finds herself in the crosshairs of a conspiracy stranger and more evil than she could have ever imagined.

The film stars Ella Balinska, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Pilou Asbæk, Clark Gregg, Dayo Okeniyi, and Betsy Brandt.

Run Sweetheart Run premieres on Amazon Prime beginning October 28.
