‘There’s Something Wrong With The Children’: The Title Says It

In Roxanne Benjamin’s (The Body at Brighton Rock) new film There’s Something Wrong With The Children, there’s something, well, wrong with the children. Here, it’s all due to strange ruins and a giant hole hidden in said ruins. Nothing could possibly be creepy about that, right? With a script by T.J. Cimfel & Dave White, Benjamin brings a new bit of flare to the subgenre of scary kids.

When Margaret and Ben take a weekend trip with longtime friends Ellie and Thomas and their two young children (Guiza and Mattle), Ben begins to suspect something supernatural is occurring when the kids behave strangely after disappearing into the woods overnight.

Alisha Wainwright, Zach Gilford, Amanda Crew, and Carlos Santos star in the film. Josh Reinhold, Jeremy Gold, Chris McCumber, Jason Blum serve as executive producers. The Gifted, frequent collaborators with Benjamin, did the score.

There’s Something Wrong With The Children comes to digital and VOD on January 17, 2023, then MGM+ on March 17, 2023.
