Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Scott Anderson’s divorce date has finally been set. It looked like their divorce would be finalized in October 2024 but that did not happen. Now, they will face off in court but when will that happen? Keep reading for more details.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Divorce Date Set
It has been a long time coming but Gypsy Rose Blanchard will finally head to court regarding her divorce with Ryan Scott Anderson. She shared she had left and separated from Ryan in March 2024 which was not a surprise to many. The duo wed when Gypsy was behind bars though her family was hopeful she would have waited until she was released from jail. Three months after her release, she ended the relationship and moved back home with her parents, Rod and Kristy Blanchard. She then started back up with her ex-fiance, Ken Urker and they are now expecting a daughter in January 2025.
Ryan seemed to still hold out hope for Gypsy and believed that had she not gotten pregnant, there may have been a chance. His name will be on the baby’s birth certificate because they are still married. Had they been divorced for 300 or more days before the baby was born, Ken would have been listed. Gypsy even had a paternity test done while in utero which proved Ken was the dad. With the baby due in two months, there is finally movement in the divorce. A date has been set to finalize it but when will it be?
According to The Blast, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Scott Anderson will face off on December 9th, 2024. This is eight months after she filed for divorce from Ryan and they have no children or assets that she wants from him. Initially, she wanted him to pay her as she maintained he had a higher income than her. She had also alleged that he was controlling which some viewers saw during their Lifetime docuseries. Ryan has denied these claims as he always believed she loved Ken.

In August 2024, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ryan Scott Anderson agreed they would wave spousal support. He also had to withdraw his own divorce filing. His was done in a different county. Gypsy is continuing to move forward with her life. She and Ken just celebrated their baby shower where the name of their daughter was revealed. Rumors have been swirling that Ken Urker left Gypsy and was done with her but he appeared at her shower. Therefore, it seems they are still happily together. At the same time, they cannot live together when their daughter arrives due to her parole.
