Over the years, fans and followers have watched Paula Deen’s weight drop tremendously. This all came hand in hand with a major scandal, including a racial and sexual discrimination lawsuit. The famed chef admitted to having used a racial slur, and that caused her to get canceled. It took some time, but she was able to get her fanbase back. Around the same time as her scandal, she began a weight-loss journey to deal with her diabetes. She has found her niche and keeps improving with time and age.
She is hardly recognizable anymore and recently did a fall photoshoot in front of her home. Paula is sitting on her stoop to promote fall decor, with pumpkins lining the stairs. She also has plants surrounding her as she dons black leggings, an oversized salmon shirt, and her signature glasses. Immediately, Instagram followers praised her for staying youthful and turning back the hands of time. They thought she looked “amazing” and were in awe of the 79-year-old.
