Hailey’s move comes days after Gomez apologized when some commenters thought she threw “shade” at Hailey because she shared a skincare video on her TikTok. Hailey regularly shares skincare TikTok videos, as she’s gearing up to launch a skincare line, Rhode.
Gomez expressed confusion at the outrage and explained it was never her intention to insult anyone. “This is why I believe in taking care of your mental health,” Gomez wrote on TikTok, in a screenshot Selena Gomez fan account GomezSource shared. “Guys no idea what I did but I really am sorry. Zero bad intention. Deleting soon.”

Hailey herself shared a TikTok in April asking fans to stop pitting her and Gomez against each other. “Leave me alone at this point. I’m minding my business,” Hailey said. “I don’t do anything.
